Mulch Beds

Installing mulch in all flower beds often reduces the frequency of flower bed maintenance. Furthermore, mulch helps retain the moisture needed to maintain healthy shrubs. Note: applying to much mulch around certain flower types may lead to root rot and fungus. Please call for a quote. We will be happy to assist you in determining how much mulch is needed to cover your flower beds. We have excellent bulk pricing on mulch and compost for large installations.

Dethatching

Dethatching is a lawn maintenance service that should be performed every other year. Dethatching allows us to get to the root of your dead, dull grass leaving the healthy, vibrant grass room to grow and expand ultimately leaving you with that luscious green yard you’ve always wanted. Dethatching provides many benefits including; Healthy Root Growth in Your Grass, Making Fertilizer Work for Your Lawn, and Effective Draining.

Over Seeding

Overseeding Winter Rye requires that we scalp the entire lawn. We only install Winter Rye from September 15 through October. Prices start at $80. There are several seed options. We only use premium Rye seed.

Fertilization

Gowin Green’s eight-treatment program will have your lawn looking great year round. Our treatments include a comprehensive slow release fertilization program, pre emergent weed control and post emergent control of both broadleaf and grassy weeds. Nutgrass (Nutsedge) control is also available with an additional charge. We will gladly help you determine the appropriate watering program to ensure maximum results.

Aerating

Core-Aeration assist the naturally occurring process of air exchange between the soil and its surrounding atmosphere. Aeration is the process of mechanically removing small plugs of thatch and soil from the lawn to improve natural soil aeration. Most homeowners simply call it aeration.
